The village of Stockum on the eastern part of the Westfalen is located on the sunny northern shore.
The forest colony of Neuhaus, which belongs to Stockum, is around five kilometers away in the middle of the Arnsberg Forest Nature Park. The twin village is home to around 750 inhabitants.
The romantic valley of the Heve and Schmalenau rivers, the thousand-year-old oak trees and beautiful views of the Soest Börde are well worth seeing. The view from Mestefeld to Loers Hof or the Stockum dam is also unique.
Gastronomy rounds off the offer.
