A day at the sea and without a flight or a long journey to the North Sea or the Baltic Sea? That you experience at the Westphalian Sea! With everything that goes with it!

For relaxed ones:

Spend the day at one of the swimming areas and have a good time.

At the “Uferlos” bathing beach sand is even piled up and food and drink is also taken care of. At the bathing area in Delecke, the bathers spread out on a large meadow.  There is some play equipment for children and the Pier 20 restaurant above the bathing area has snacks ready for when you get hungry.

If you want, you can interrupt the day of strolling with a boat trip. The MS Möhnesee docks in Delecke every hour between 11:40 a.m. and 4:40 p.m.

So everything is there for a wonderful day at the water to laze around, to play and to have a good time.

For the active ones:

Maybe a bit of movement in between?

At the Westphalian Sea you will find various contact points to rent boats for every sporting requirement! A good opportunity to interrupt the tranquil day at the lake for a bit of activity.

In Körbecke, near the Seepark, Becker Events rents out pedal boats. And if you like it a bit more sporty, you can rent a sailing boat a few hundred meters further in the direction of Körbecker bridge, at the ADAC yacht school. (Min. 2 hours up to a full day).

Canoes, pedal boats and SUP boards are also available for rent on the south bank at the Höcker Bootsvermietung boat rental.

At Wild-boards, on the south bank, there are windsurfing courses for all levels of ability and stand-up paddling can also be tried out here. Of course, the respective boards can be rented.

Maybe you end your vacation day at the Westphalian Sea on a boat? On calm water with a view of the sunset: more relaxation is not possible!
