This circular hiking trail leads through the expanses of the Arnsberg Forest close to the banks of the Möhne. In between, the trail also offers you a magnificent view of the Möhnesee, where you can also see the imposing barrier wall. There is also a playground along the way, which children will love. You walk on forest paths as well as asphalt and gravel paths.
This long trail leads along the banks of the Möhnesee and deep into the Arnsberg Forest. On the 290-metre-high Kellerberg, a refuge awaits you for your personal mountain feast. Along the way, you will see clearings at the edge of the path where forest animals sometimes appear. A detour to the imposing dam wall, a 40-metre-high structure made of natural stone blocks, is also tempting. From up there, you can let your gaze wander over the lake and valley. Water birds can be observed from the shore in quiet bays. You walk part of the way along the Sauerland-Waldroute.
