Delecke

The village of Delecke with its 600 inhabitants, the farming community of Drüggelte and the village of Westrich are located on the northern shore of the Möhnesee.

Delecke can look back on over 800 years of village history.

With direct access to the water and a sunbathing lawn, a diving bay, slipways and access points for surfers, Delecke makes the hearts of water sports enthusiasts beat faster. A campsite on the southern shore of the lake, a hotel and a camper van site, vacation apartments and houses, pubs and restaurants provide a good infrastructure for guests. In the season between April and October, the catamaran of the Möhneseeschifffahrt docks near the Delecke bridge.

Event highlights include the Drüggelte Art Festival at Whitsun and the Drüggelte concerts in summer.

Also worth seeing are the Bismarckturm and the Drüggelte Chapelwhich are regularly open during the high season. The nature promenade along the Heve peninsula is also a great destination for families and nature lovers.
